Nashkal is a holy place for "Ramalayam" that attracts thousands of devotees from all over the states in India, it is the abode of Lord Rama (The seventh incarnation of SriMahavishnu). The sacred Shrine is encircled by a small river called "Akeru Vaagu" flowing towards the southern direction for this shrine Ramalayam. This Shrine was constructed in the 17th century when "Sita Ramachandraswamy Shrine", Bhadrachalam was constructed.
The major festivals are being celebrated every year which were introduced and traditionally celebrated "Sri Rama Navami", "Vykuntha Ekadasi" and "Godadevi Kalyanam" a religious festivals involving a lot of devotees across the nearby states in India at this famous shrine Nashkal.
This 5 day "Brahmotsavam" Each day lord Rama will come out from the Shrine on a special vachanas like "Ponna Vahanam","Garuthmanthudu", "Rupala Devudu", "Aswa", "Shesha" and "Pattabhi Rama", will give special darshan to the devotees
